New ‘iPad 2’ Image Almost Certainly Fake — Earlier today, BGR posted an image it had received from a source claiming that it was a rear view of the second-generation iPad. The image has of course received a fair bit of traction on Apple-focused sites this morning, but it is almost certainly fake.
Jonathan S. Geller / BGR:
Is this Apple's next iPad? — We have been sent an image that looks very convincing. A tipster has shot us over what could be — and appears to be — an image of the back of Apple's next generation iPad. The rear-facing camera, redesigned speaker, and flat back with tapered edges are all visible.
