Although Pokémon Go's sudden success is driven by nostalgia, Pokémon's mechanics are uniquely suited for augmented reality — Basically everyone is Pokémon Go-ing according to Twitter, and I'm sure basic resources like power and water will soon start to shut down because key staff are out chasing Pikachu.
