Nokia's next Lumia teased on TV with a metal body and big camera lens  —  Nokia announced its latest Lumia 928 handset on Friday, but the company has more planned for an event in London next week.  On Sunday, Nokia teased part of this announcement during a commercial break on British TV.

Facebook Home Is Losing Steam In The Charts...Fast  —  Facebook Home, the app which CEO Mark Zuckerberg touted as the “next version of Facebook,” has not been an immediate hit.  Its Google Play rankings have been dropping steadily after the launch buzz wore off, according to new data from top app store analytics firms.

Google shuts down SMS Search  —  Google SMS Search allowed users to search Google via text message.  This worked by sending an SMS to a Google phone number that contained the search query.  Google then responded to the query with information, again via SMS and free of charge to the user.

Bloomberg Admits Terminal Snooping  —  Reporters at Bloomberg News were trained to use a function on the company's financial data terminals that allowed them to view subscribers' contact information and, in some cases, monitor login activity in order to advance news coverage, more than half a dozen former employees said.

iTunes users spending at the rate of $40/yr.  —  In the latest quarter the iTunes top line grew by 32%.  Additional newly reported items:  — Quarterly revenues topped $4 billion (a new high) and the company suggests that this rate is maintainable by stating it has a “$16 billion annual run rate”.

Samsung ready for 5G rollout in 2020, has reportedly pulled down 1Gbps in tests  —  LTE might be all the rage right now, but next generation mobile technology is already in the works.  According to Korea's Yonhap News Agency, Samsung has successfully tested its 5G platform, pulling down data at 1Gbps in recent tests.
